Car Luggage Carriers

What car should I go for?

I need to get a bigger car since my lttle 306 is struggling to cope with the family. I have 2 young uns in car seats and a occasionally a rather rotund 12 yr old, all to fit in the back seat. I've thought about people carriers but since there are no rear impact tests carried out, I'm a little unsure as to their safety. I'd be quite happy to have an estate as we do tend to carry a lot of luggage when we go on a trip. Any suggestions??? Should've said..... £3000 budget. Not a lot, I know but it's all I've got.

  2. You need to take a serious look at the new Ford Flex. Good luck and have a wonderful day!
  3. Audi A4 estate or a nissan Quashqai are both decent motors if you have the cash or a VW Passat is a decent saloon that will work. used ones can be grabbed for as little as 3 grand now. hope this helps. If not good luck
  4. a 3/4 ton pick up with a 8 foot box plenty of room and can handle the weight.
  5. Renault Espace IV Great car, really comfortable.
  6. Depends what kind of budget you are on, £2000+ Ford Focus Estate / Cmax £5000+ Subaru Legacy Estate / Toyota Corolla Verso £10000+ Audi A4 Estate / VW Touran Hope this helps
  7. We had a Ford Mondeo estate when we had a young son and large dog. It has a very respectable load space and was totally reliable. There are plenty around to suit most budgets. You can afford to be choosy. We have also owned a couple of Renault Scenics which were great until the electrics started to go wrong.
  8. buy something from honda it will never let you down
