roof racks on a toyota corolla?

hey can anyone tell me if its alright to put roof racks on a toyota corrolla? this is a link to a car thats exactly the same as mine, same year, model all that http://carsguide.news.com.au/site/search/gallery-pop-up/D_10275161/1/1 and could you put 4 surf boards on it for like a 4 hour drive?? thanks :)

2. Yup, Just make sure they are strapped down very tight with CARGO straps. Not twine. Cargo straps might cost a little bit, but they are cheaper than a new surf board.
