Car Luggage Carriers

Where can I buy a car luggage rack locally? Looking for a retailer that sells cheap universal fit car luggage racks. Dad is moving out of state and needs extra storage space, anyone know where I can go to find a roof luggage rack, like Walmart or Target, maybe a Sporting Goods store in Norfolk Virginia? I'm not sure of anyone that would carry them and need it by tomorrow. Thanks!

What ski/snowboard rack would go on my bare Jetta 2000 GL roof? I don't want to drill holes in the roof, just want something thats easy to install and take out. I looked for universal ones but they are ones that attach to railing or bars already on roofs. Please give me brands or models that i can find on ebay . I know thule and yakama but didn't find ones that do not require bolted railings.

Can I take any of these Kayaks in the ocean? I'm looking into buying a Kayak, they have a few affordbale ones in Dicks, the main question I have is if I purchase one of these are they mainly for fresh water or can I take them into the ocean? Mind you I'm not going to be taking this thing into the Atlantic or anything, just dropping it off and floating around the RI and MA beach areas. I've read a few posts about them and alot of people are saying get a Prijon but the cheapest one I found was $1k and I don't feel like spending that much, the ones at Dick are anywhere from $150-$400. Also I have an 03 Ford Focus and I'm looking for roof racks (for said Kayak), the only ones I can find are the universal ones which I'm not too fond of, anyone know if they make factory fit ones?
